In the big hospital again, huzzah! Anyway, I actually finished Inktober this year! I did not post anything to dA, though.  But if you’d like to see, I did post on FB.

Yeah, I know. It’s been awhile. Unless you’ve in my close circle of friends, I’ve dropped off the face of the earth.

Well, for the past couple of years, I’ve been recovering from a severe and rare blood infection. The treatment left me paralyzed from the neck down and I was breathing through a ventilator and eating through a tube shoved up my nose. My kidneys shut down for awhile, too.

But, I’m now at the point where I’ve regained most of my upper body mobility and am now in a wheelchair. My doctors are pretty optimistic that I’ll eventually be able to walk again, but it may be several months or years before that happens.

As you can imagine, I went a very long time where I couldn’t use my hands, and I’ve literally been living in a hospital for a year and a half. That’s why I haven’t posted any new art in a long while. My dominant hand is still relatively weak, but I have been doodling again. I hope I can start sharing work again soon

Well, it's nearly the end of 2016.  It's almost Halloween, and soon Christmas will be here.

All illustrations will be at least 300dpi for high quality printing for the customer and will be presented in digital format, unless requested otherwise.  Please keep in mind that requests for physical prints will include printing fees, and shipping and handling fees. Rates in those situations will vary based on the costs of materials and amount of postage.

Well, got a copy for my 3DS, since I can't find it anywhere for the Wii for less than $100....

....I'm trying really hard to like this game, but I think FFXII and FFXIII did the psuedo-MMORPG styled gameplay better (this is coming from someone that HATED FFXIII). Also, the GUI and menus are a mess. 

You can definitely tell it's a Takahashi game, from all the forced techno-babble in the dialogue.  The environments are pretty, but I wish you could explore the buildings... The soundtrack's good; I don't think it's as good as Xenogears or Xenosaga, but it's nice.

I will say that I like Dunban.  He's the closest I will get to another Jin Uzuki.  

I guess so far it's a bit disappointing after playing Bravely Default.
